An introductory overview of modern C++1y
On Thursday, December 22, at 16:00 o'clock, in AC-02, at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering, TUIasi, just before the long-waited winter break, I will hold an introductory presentation on the new amazing C++1y features. We will discuss about the lambda expressions, smart pointers (and how smart they are), range-based loops, auto and many more. We will try to address some common mistakes and destroy monstrous fake myths, putting accent on good practices. The presentation will last about an hour (but probably we will fill with content both of the available hours). The slides will be uploaded here after the presentation. Special thanks goes to Lect. Dr. Robert Gabriel Lupu for his kind support and for making this event possible. See you there!
